Hector Reynaldo Cuellar, 51, from Virginia earlier this week was arrested after a police investigation that he raped a 14-year-old girl in the family several times from August to October, according to Fox News.
The U.S. Secret Service does not have much comment on the arrest, but confirmed it had been informed of the allegations. Cuellar said the agency was "on leave pending the outcome of the court" and refused to answer questions about his exact location in force. Sources knowledgeable about the work of Cuellar said he was a member of the team assigned to monitor the mansion of Vice President Biden in Washington, DC.
According WJLA U.S., this agent faces allegations of sexual violence and pedophilia. He is being held without bail payment.
This is the latest incident in a series of violations of the U.S. Secret Service employees in the past few months. Earlier this year, at least 12 Secret Service is investigating after a line involvement with prostitutes in Colombia while performing security duties to U.S. President Barack Obama. Two weeks ago, Aaron Francis Engler agents arrested in Miami, Florida by falling asleep drunk on the street because, after the completion of tasks supporting the president's visit.
